CHILD-CENTRED PLAY THERAPY

At Manna Wellness, we deliver qualified and experienced child-centred play therapy to assist children experiencing a wide range of social, emotional, behavioural and learning challenges. Our Child-Centred Play Therapist, Cassandra Carratti, offers a safe space and therapeutic relationship for children to process, heal and grow through the difficulties they are facing.

DARLINGTON PLAY THERAPY

  • Child-centred Play Therapy (CCPT) is a research-based, developmentally appropriate intervention developed to safely and respectfully facilitate therapeutic change in children. Play Therapy is informed by neuroscience and humanistic approaches to therapy.

Through building a therapeutic relationship with the play therapist and engaging in meaningful play in the safe and accepting environment of the play room, healthy development is fostered at a neurological level. CCPT builds skills, and addresses a variety of emotional, behavioural, social and developmental challenges.
